Are You Ready for Your Senior Photo Session?

February 17, 2018

On this weekend before Valentine's Day, the weather is gloomy and the flu is rampant. On the bright side, we have only two months to go until Spring Break! Then, in no time, seniors will be marking an end to a significant chapter in their lives - High School Graduation.

Class of 2018, you'll want to cherish March, April, and May and delight in all the events of the season. One of the best ways to capture the memories is through a senior photo session. This will be an experience that you will always remember. I, as your photographer, will help with finding the best location to your liking, whether it be an urban city background, the lake, the river, your high school campus, your dance studio... wherever you want to create life-long memories. I will help you find the best looks for your makeup. You'll want a natural, matte look. (If you have not yet tried Makeup Forever, stop by Sephora and ask for a sample.) You can create fashion-forward looks by wearing a trendy hat (Urban Outfitters has a great selection.) Begin thinking about a few outfits for your photo shoot such as dressy, trendy, chic, bohemian (which make great images - check out Anthropologie at Avalon) Talk to your hairstylist about making an appointment the day of the photo shoot. The best time of day for the best light is before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM, so set your hair appointment with that in mind. Many of us gals like to get a bit of color, and there are many good products that can be applied to the skin rather than going to a tanning bed such as Banana Boat or Loreal. They work just as well, if not better, than expensive brands.

Shutterfly has a great website 75 Unique Senior Photo Ideas that you'll enjoy reading.

Check out my Pinterest Page for ideas about how to do your makeup, style your hair, and get ideas for what you'll wear.

Lastly, you'll want a beautiful album to keep forever. As a professional photographer, I'll work with my publisher and you to create an album that you'll be proud to share with friends and family for years to come.

I can't wait to be your photographer for your Senior Photo Shoot!
